It was a great week, a hard week, struggles and blessings all together, and God is so patient with us and so are others!! The leaders at the Youth Center for putting up with our learning curve! Praise God for their patience!
Slowly we are getting in the tempo of English teaching, we love the students but our hearts desire so is to help them learn and show Jesus to them. Each week the students have one day of Relevant Topics which the choices are this session: Learning to study the Bible, World Religions, Bible Stories, and Relationships (we are on this team). So this week Ed and I taught on the four different loves, talking to them very frankly about love, affection, hurts, real stuff...but the greatest of these is Agape Love - GOD'S LOVE!
To be able to share with approximately 130 young people ranging in age from 12 - 28?? WOW thank you God for letting us go to Cambodia! To share with some who have never heard, or hear bits and pieces as we can share with them, thank you God and Holy Spirit work in their hearts melt them mold them make them yours!! that is our prayer! nothing could be greater, nothing!!!
We were able to share in fasting with the staff on Friday, and the worship service was such a blessing to be a part of thank you God again for letting us taste and see your work in Cambodia!
Today the normal Saturday stuff of running errands (except here it is on bicycles), doing laundry, relaxing, topping if off with some amazing Indian food at Flavors of Indian (a restaurant) and shared supper with two young ladies with stories we never tire of hearing...God working in their lives at such young ages, being obedient to HIM! Last evening it was Khmer food with other young people God never ceases to amaze me, as He works thru lives!
Tomorrow is the Lord's Day and it will be family day at Jeevit's House, I am excited to be able to take part in this what was one of the big things that drew us to Cambodia!
