It is now 3:35pm, just settling into our home for the next month!
We had the normal horn honking ride from Siem Reap to Battambang, that means every time the taxi driver passes a bike, pedestrian, scooter, tractor another motorized vehicle going slower than he chooses to go, he honks the horn and passes. Which is 95% of the time!
Our trip was good it was so good to see the sites of Cambodia, people walking cows, theirs shops along the road, people in the rice fields, ladies doing laundry by water that looks to dirty it couldn't clean anything, people fishing, lots of rice and rice straw either in stacks, still in the field in mounds, or being hauled either by tractor, byke, or truck. I hope to post some pictures of this.
The people are friendly and gracious. They are poor, but their eyes smile if you connect. It is so very good to be here, we are thankful, may God use us to bless those we come into contact with.
