Last evening we were blessed to go with Laura to the slums, oh I could post 100 pictures because they all LOVE to have their pictures taken and then look at them.

We were blessed to meet Rothana who we sponsor, she is first in her 8th grade class and wants to be a doctor, we are so proud of her! And it was so wonderful to actually meet her.

We watched a husband and wife making shell for spring rolls, they sell them to her sister in law who then makes the spring rolls and goes to market with them. This is how they make their living, oh I wish I could post the picture, but it would not upload maybe another time.

We played with children they all love to be loved.

One lady got a new door on her house and was so proud to show it off. It is a couple of bamboo sticks with a new 5' long piece of corrugated tin.

It was also bath time it seemed as people were pouring water over themselves all the while standing in mud. Needless to say the street/path was muddy making it hard to negotiate our bikes.

We were introduced to a grandpa and grandma who were caring for
a large number of children whose mothers were in the prostitution
business. Many of the children we are holding are HIV positive meaning they have aids or will soon have it. -Watched an aunt giving
anti-HIV medication-spoon fed white powder which the child
obviously didn't like.
